Wires for energy and communication are one of the symbols of our society. Between energy consumption, pollution of nature, visual pollution. They are so present that we do not pay attention to them anymore. They serve humanity in its thirst for control (having light at night, deciding to be hot or cold on command). In communication, they connect people in the same way that they distance them, through screens. The photography of wires is fascinating when one is interested in it. Like our relationships with others, they can be straight, symmetrical or all tangled up in an absolute mess where we wonder how everything can still work. It is an indispensable visual poison, no wire, no comfort, no wire, no or little relationship.
